Revive Your Musical Soul

What do you get when you combine jazz, flamenco, and Latin American rhythms? The sounds of Barrio Manouche. The San Francisco–based band, led by Spanish guitarist and composer Javi Jiménez, will be bringing their original world music to the Rivertown Revival music festival. Joining them will be John Courage, Sonomacana, Andre Thierry, Audio Angel and Her Good Intentions, and other performers. Besides music, the festival will also offer activities for children and families, including a kids’ stage, puppet show, arts and crafts, and a carousel and seesaw. In addition, the Petaluma Mothers Club will provide a quiet place to nurse, a diaper changing station, and drinks and snacks for little ones. A benefit for the Friends of Petaluma River, the festival will be held on July 22, noon–8 p.m., and July 23, noon–7 p.m., at Steamer Landing Park in Petaluma. A two-day pass is $41.25–$55 for ages 17 and older, and $10 for kids 16 and younger. Single-day tickets are $30–$40 for July 22; $22.50–$30 for July 23; and $5 for kids on either day.
