Mean Girls Get a Musical

Tina Fey, of 30 Rock fame, is not only an actress and comedian, but also a playwright. Her play Mean Girls, based on Rosalind Wiseman’s novel about a high school girl’s social struggles, was first performed on Broadway in 2017. It even spawned a 60-minute kids’ version of the musical, Mean Girls Jr., which 6th Street Players student actors will be staging. See it on August 3–6 at 7 p.m. and August 5–6 at 1:30 p.m. at the 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa.
