October 21 will not be a normal day at the Sonoma County Family YMCA (SCFYMCA) in Santa Rosa. While the pool and ellipticals will still be there, there also will be a preponderance of spiders, pumpkins, and black and orange everything as the 30th Annual SCFYMCA Halloween Carnival takes over. The afternoon will include carnival games and prizes, a jumpy house, crafts, music, and other activities for kids. It all happens 3–6 p.m.; admission is $5–$10. Go to scfymca.org for more information.
