Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) in Sonoma County is an all-day Saturday event for girls in 7th and 8th grades. (Boys are welcome to attend.) The day consists of hands-on workshops in a variety of subjects led by women working in the sciences. The objectives of EYH events are to: Foster awareness of the wide range of career options for women in mathematics, science, engineering, and technology; provide opportunities to meet and talk with women who work in these fields, and increase young women’s awareness of the importance of STEM education and the need for early career exploration.
