California State Railroad Museum, Sacramento Old Sacramento 916-445-6645 Every weekend April - September ride behind a steam locomotive on the Museum's Sacramento Southern Railroad. Charles M. Schulz Museum, Santa Rosa 2301 Hardies Lane 579-4452 Walk through Snoopy's Labyrinth in the shape of Snoopy's head. The entire journey in and out of the Snoopy Labyrinth is about 875 feet, or one-sixth-of-a-mile.The Education Room at the Schulz Museum is a place to draw, write and learn about cartooning. Cartoon Workshops are scheduled throughout the summer. Also daily screenings of the Peanuts Television shows, interviews with Charles Schulz and other Peanuts-related material can be found in the beautiful 100-seat auditorium. www.schulzmuseum.org. Redwood Empire Ice Arena, Santa Rosa 1667 West Steele Lane 546-7147 The Arena offers a full range of skating activities with both public and private ice time. It is also home to the 'Warm Puppy," a first class coffee shop serving arena patrons and local businesses. Ice skating birthday parties and group lessons also available. $5.50-$9 to skate. Traintown Railroad Rides Petting Zoo & Park, Sonoma 20264 Broadway, Highway 12 938-3912 You will see a 47-foot clock tower and station modeled after Oakland's 16th Street Depot and three full sized cabooses, dating from the 1930s and 1940s. A refreshment stand is located in the station offering 'Track Snacks." Train Town is located on 10 acres with one and a quarter miles of track.
