About Shelina Moreda...

Shelina Moreda grew up in Petaluma and started riding quads and dirtbikes, and streetbikes. She started competitive racing last year and took 3rd overall in the AFemme class championship, a class dedicated to promoting female racers in Northern California, as well as Top Novice. In addition she racked up top 3 finishes in the AFM Clubman Middleweight class (men's class).  

"I love everything about motorcycles. The smell, the colors, the athletic ability they require, and especially the free feeling of riding them and the adrenaline rush that accompanies! It is hard work piloting the bike around the track, but it is so much fun!
 
Now  Shelina competes in the  AMA National Pro Races. "It  was awesome! Something I have always wanted to do. I even made it on TV three times during the last AMA race!  Shelina is hoping to use her new found celebrity to encourage kids to wear their helmets.

"You want to be able to do the things you love for a long time," Shelina reminds young riders, "so take care of yourself and wear your helmet, just like the pro's."
