Redwood Christian School

Welcome to Redwood Christian School!  For over 35 years, we  have served our community by providing an excellence in education.  Formerly Sebastopol Christian School, we understand that our school families encompass the greater west Sonoma county and we wanted to identify our school as such.  Our name has changed, but our standard of education has not!

From Kindergarten thru Eighth Grade, students are challenged to grow in the areas of academics, strong morals, Christian truth, and community awareness.  We provide an environment where kids can enjoy their childhood, but also grow with the understanding that they can be a transforming influence in their community.

RCS is located in the heart of Sebastopol right on Hwy. 116 by Pacific Market.  Our campus covers almost 5 acres of beautiful, park-like surrounding.  Just a short drive from Rohnert Park or Santa Rosa!

Redwood Christian School is a ministry of Redwood Christian Fellowship yet our student body attends a variety of churches in the Sonoma County area.  Our main purpose is to train each child in the way they should go, so when they are old they will not depart from it.  (Prov. 22:6) 

One thing this school has always been able to do is provide an excellent education for our students as well as keep tuition costs as low as possible.  In doing so we become a place where families of all walks of life have the opportunity to provide a private education for their children. 

What we are teaching is the same curriculum and values as other Christian private schools!  Our students are getting to know a variety of friends from various backgrounds in a structured, safe environment.  They are receiving a standard of education that exceeds California public schools and compares with the highest of national standards.  They are instilled with values and standards in life through self-discipline, yet they have the freedom to enjoy just being a kid. 

RCS is here to teach and lay a strong foundation for the children of today who will become the leaders of tomorrow.
