Redwood Children's Services, Inc. strives to provide permanency, safety and well-being for Lake and Mendocino County's children and families.

RCS has a unique program that is based in the philosophy of community integrated living.  All of our current programs share the belief that with proper support services and a community of people that are dedicated to a common goal, we will successfully make a difference in the lives of the children and youth in our community. RCS joins the child welfare movement toward permanency and well-being,  and has extended its programs and services with the involvement of county partners working collaboratively to insure the best possible outcomes for our most vulnerable population.

Accreditation

RCS is accredited by the California Alliance of Child and Family Services (CACFS) in meeting standards for excellence in Residential Care, Foster Family Agency, and Family Based Services (Mental Health, Case Management). Initially certified in 2005, RCS was re-certified on February 3, 2010 in providing programs and services to the children and families we serve.
