Santa Rosa needs help identifying good deeds being done by neighbors, clubs and organizations as the Mayor and Santa Rosa City Council get ready to announce the annual City Merit Awards this fall. The deadline for nominations is Aug. 31 for the Merit Awards Presentation to be held at City Hall on Oct. 30. Nominations will be reviewed by the Merit Awards Committee and winners will be honored in the following categories: Youth Services, Community Services, Neighborhood Enrichment, Community Enrichment, Cultural Enrichment, Recognizes contributions through the arts and music.
