September is Baby Safety Month
During these economic times, moms are turning to a lot of used products to save money. Since September is National Baby Safety Month, here’s a little reminder of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s list of top 10 most dangerous recalled children’s products:
1) Graco’s Simplicity Bassinet (recalled in 2008, blamed in 3 deaths)
2) Magnetix Magnetic Building Sets (recalled in 2006 & 2007, blamed in 1 death & 27 serious injuries)
3) Easy-Bake Ovens (recalled in 2007, cause of 77 serious burns)
4) Polly Pocket Dolls (recalled in 2007, 3 serious injuries)
5) Simplicity Drop-Side Cribs (recalled in 2007, 2008, & 2009, blamed in 10 deaths)
6) Hill Sportswear Drawstring Hoodie (recalled in 2009, blamed in 1 death)
7) Evenflo Envision High Chairs (recalled in 2009, blamed in 50 injuries & 370 incidents)
8) Baby Trend Home & Roam (recalled in 1995, 2001, & 2003, blamed in 1 death)
9) Playskool Travel-Lite Play Yard (recalled in 1993, blamed in 3 deaths)
10) Evenflo Happy Camper Play Yard (recalled in 1997, blamed in 3 deaths)
