Spikers Volleyball Camp

Ready, set, spike! The Mendo-Lake Spikers Volleyball Club will be holding a girls’ camp on
August 3–6 at Mendocino College. Campers will receive training in fundamental skills through demonstration, drills, and lots of playing time. Lead instructor, Ori Polkinghorne, head coach of the Mendocino College Women’s Volleyball team, with assistance from area coaches and players. The morning session runs from 9 a.m.–noon for girls in grades 6–8. High school players will attend the afternoon session from 1–4 p.m. This camp is perfect for players who are going out for school teams in the fall or for someone who wants to learn the great game of volleyball. Camp fees are $80 per player which includes a free t-shirt.

Referee Clinics

Hey kids, if you are age 12 & up and love the game of soccer, you are invited to attend a referee class on August 12 & 13. This class will qualify to become a licensed Grade 9 Recreational Referee and to get premium pay. Class time is 2:30–5:30 p.m. at 705 N. State Street in Ukiah. North Ukiah Little League Fall Ball

North Ukiah Little League will begin Fall Ball on August 15 for players age 9–12. The season will run through October 25. Players must register by August 1. Call 485-1160 or 338-5913 for more information.

Six-A-Side Soccer Tournament

High school age boys and girls are invited to play in the Six-A-Side Soccer Tournament on August 15. The tournament will be held at Pomolita Middle School track. Shane Huff Norcal Soccer Academy on August 3–7

Ukiahian Shane Huff is offering a soccer camp for youth ages 5–12 at Pomolita Middle School track from August 3–7. Full day session is for ages 10–12 from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. Fee is $135 which includes a t-shirt and ball. Half-day session is for ages 7–9 (ages 5–6 come at 9:30) from 9 a.m.–noon.
