Help Save McDonald Ranch

McDonald Ranch’s youth programs have been a vital part of the North Bay community for a couple of decades. Now the ranch and its population of ducks, horses, chickens, and cats, is threatened with closure. Since the husband of Linda McDonald, who owns the ranch, lost his 30-year job as an x-ray technician, the facility has been financially struggling. Youth program enrollment is up, but the accessible tuition fees aren’t enough to cover the cost of running the programs. The couple hopes to raise $65,000 through its GoFundMe campaign to keep the youth programs and the ranch going. Go to www.gofundme.com/mcdonaldranch to donate. If the campaign fails, Linda will be looking for new homes for her animals. Call her at 707-537-0955 if you can provide one.
