Spirited Away by Anime

The highly stylized and creative imagery of Hayao Miyazaki and other Japanese anime and manga artists has captured the imagination of many an American tween and teen. If your child is one of them, he or she can discuss manga or watch anime with other like-minded spirits at the free Tween Anime Club at the Central Santa Rosa Library in Santa Rosa. Open to kids ages 9–14, the group is held on the second Thursday of every month, 4–5 p.m. The next meeting is set for September 8. For more information, see sonomalibrary.org.
