Every summer, scads of people come to the Russian River to swim or just admire its languid beauty. Rockin’ the River aims to entertain inner-tubers and Sunday drivers alike with its with its free family-friendly free concerts in Guerneville Plaza in Guerneville. On August 3 the Jean Genies pay tribute to David Bowie; on August 17 the Los Angeles band Invasion Latina plays nonstop cumbia, salsa, and bachata; and on August 31 Dgiin delivers gypsy funk.
