Even though the final flames were extinguished weeks ago, the fires and the devastation they left behind continue to haunt many Sonoma County residents, especially those who lost their homes and jobs. With the free Sonoma Strong Healing Arts Fair, a group of local alternative healers aims to offer respite to those who are suffering. On December 9, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., at the Steele Lane Community Center in Santa Rosa, community members can explore and experience a variety of healing modalities, such as massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, naturopathy, Reconnective Healing, Reiki, EFT tapping, sound healing, B-12 shots, wellness coaching, yoga, qigong, and more. While receiving treatments, parents will be able to leave children attended in the Kids’ Area. Snacks and drinks will be provided for all.
