For parents-to-be, preparing for birth can be as scary as it is exciting. The Inspired Birth childbirth education class aims to ease anxieties through childbirth education. In the three-hour class, taught by doula Kelly Gray, participants will learn about the hormones of labor and practice massage, breath work, and communication techniques as well positions for grounding and opening the pelvic floor. Meanwhile, the Birth Herbs: Daylong Workshop on Herbs for Pregnancy and Birth will teach expectant mothers how to use herbs to alleviate the discomforts of pregnancy and labor.
