The meme is a staple of social media communication. Anyone with access to Instagram or Facebook has probably posted one—or a hundred. But how do you construct the popular purveyors of pithiness? Tweens and teens can find out how at Lindsay Hunter’s Make a Meme class. Students will learn to use original photos and graphics software to create a like-worthy combination of picture and text. The free workshop will be held on July 13, 2–3:30 p.m., at Rohnert Park–Cotati Regional Library in Rohnert Park. Class participation is limited to 15 students and registration is required.
