Kids Sing Stories

The San Francisco Opera Guild wants to sow the seeds of music appreciation in young people. With this aim, it began the Sing a Story for Libraries program. As part of the initiative, a professional opera singer will be visiting the Central Santa Rosa Library in Santa Rosa. With the help of props and costumes, she will tell Richard Wagner’s classic tale Das Rheingold and encourage kids to act and sing along with her. The free interactive event will be held on July 17, 2–3 p.m. For more information, see sonomacounty.libcal.com/event/5307664
