What’s green, sweet, and calls Lake County home? Pears, of course. Every year Kelseyville celebrates this key agricultural player with the free Kelseyville Pear Festival, where “all things pear” preside. Besides goodies made from the fruit, there will also be live music, dancers, craft booths, an antique tractor display, and even a horse fair. The event, which will be held on September 28 in downtown Kelseyville, kicks off with a parade at 9:30 a.m., and runs until 4 p.m. See pearfestival.com for more information.
