When some people hear October they think pumpkins, but others think…polka—at least at Cornerstone Sonoma, where, at Oktoberfest, it’s the music of choice. The event will feature not only the rollicking oompah-pah of the Grand Isle Fire Brigade but also a beer garden, local wine, bratwurst and sausage, and activities for kids, such as an heirloom pumpkin patch, face-painting, a petting zoo, and pony rides. The fun will be had on October 6, 11 a.m.–5 p.m., at Cornerstone in Sonoma and is free to attend. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Old Adobe School. Find out more at cornerstonesonoma.com.
