There are different kinds of smarts: visual, auditory, musical, interpersonal, to name just four of the nine “multiple intelligences” that comprise Harvard education professor Howard Gardener’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences. For every talent and learning proclivity, there is a way to nurture it, whether in school or through participation in a hobby or sport. At Family Life’s free Kids Education and Enrichment Expo, parents can discover private and charter schools and extracurricular activities that will feed their children’s interests.
