Full STEAM Ahead!

Homeschoolers may have to work a little harder to find educational resources and places to socialize. The Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa seeks to fill both needs with creative STEAM classes geared toward at-home learners. Students will learn to cook with the sun; mix and make several healthy snacks; create edible DNA, cell models, and comic characters; learn cartooning; and make their own animation. There will also be a chance to go ice-skating. The Homeschool Day: Cooking Up Comics events will be held on March 4, 10 a.m.–noon. The cost is $12; adult chaperones are free. Ice-skating is an additional $5 per skater. For more information, go to schulzmuseum.org.
