Hike Through Colorful Wildflowers

This is the time of year when fire flowers, mustard grass, and irises sprinkle verdant rolling hills with color. For those who want to get up close to these beautiful buds, there are Sonoma Ecology Center’s naturalist-led walks through the Van Hoosear Wildflower Preserve. The 162-acre property, located in the foothills of Sonoma Mountain in Sonoma, will be the site of the Center’s walks through the end of April. Walks are free but reservations are required. The next one is on March 28, 9 a.m.–noon. Sign up at tinyurl.com/3jb3mx7w or at sonomaopenspace.org/events.
