With their varying hues and shapes, gems and crystals are some of the Earth’s treasures. A whole array of them, along with minerals, beads, and gold and silver jewelry, will be on display and for sale at the Gem Faire. The event will be held at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa on May 7, noon–6 p.m.; May 8, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; and May 9, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Children ages 11 and younger get in free; a weekend pass for 12 and older is $7.
