This year the US Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon School Awards has nominated only four California high schools as Exemplary High Performing Schools—and the Technology High School in Rohnert Park is one of them. The prestigious Blue Ribbon program was created in 1982 to honor “great American schools,” according to the Department of Education’s website.
