Can physics be fun? The Children’s Museum of Sonoma County believes so. At its weekly Big Thinkers class, staff members use experiments and art projects to make scientific concepts not only accessible, but also entertaining. The hour-long class, geared toward ages seven and older, is held on Wednesdays at 2:30 p.m. at the museum in Santa Rosa. It’s free with admission ($2–$14 or free for babies 0–11 months).
