Bilingual Walk in a Wetland

California’s coastal wetlands are disappearing, but the Laguna de Santa Rosa is still here. It’s actually the largest wetland complex on the northern California coast. And kids and parents can explore it at Sonoma Land Trust’s free Families Outdoors/Familias al Aire Libre guided bilingual nature walk, which will be held on February 26, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Families are invited to pack a picnic lunch and water, and meet at 10 a.m. at 822 5th Street, Santa Rosa, to caravan to the park. Walkers can register in advance or just show up. For more information, contact Mirella at 707- 324-3525 or [email protected].
