What if children’s books came with their own scores, played live by a traveling orchestra? It’s a fantasy that the Sonoma State Symphony Orchestra takes seriously at its Fantastic Tales family concert. Narrated by Megan McDonald, author of the Judy Moody series of children’s books, the performance will feature fairy-tale inspired orchestral works written by Ravel, Stravinsky, and Grieg.
