There’s tea, and then there’s high tea. In the English tradition, high tea includes not only tea but also finger sandwiches, cookies, and, of course, scones and clotted cream. Floral china is usually also involved. Moms are invited to point their pinkies up and take part in the social ritual May 7–8, 11 a.m.–4 p.m., at the Mother’s Day High Tea at the Tudor Rose English Tea Room in Santa Rosa.
