Dance to High-Energy Brazilian Grooves

There are thousands of miles between the most southern and northern points of the Americas. But the band SambaDá aims to unite the two continents with music. Led by Brazilian natives Papiba Godinho and Dandha da Hora, the band’s Afro-Cuban style blends percussion-based music of South America with reggae, and funk from North America. The band will play their high-energy beats at a free concert on July 28, 5:30–7:30 p.m., at Courthouse Square in Santa Rosa. See downtownsantarosa.org for more information.
