Find Out about Fitness

Summer’s warm weather has many people itching to get out from behind their desks and move their bodies. Fitness experts and physicians will say that this is not a bad impulse—regular movement is necessary for health. The Family Fitness Expo aims to make it easier to figure out what to do for exercise by offering samplers classes in yoga, kickboxing, circuit training, and obstacle courses. Healthy food, massage, and a sustainable product marketplace will also be part of the event. The expo will happen on July 17, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., at SOMO Village in Rohnert Park. Tickets are $25 and may be purchased at tinyurl.com/4s8hzst7; kids 12 and younger get in free.
