Bike Like It’s 1950

A reward is great motivation for exercise. And it's the guiding force behind the Taco Tuesday bike ride. The free weekly ride is a slow seven-mile journey that starts off in Humboldt Park in Santa Rosa, travels through historic districts, stops at taco trucks in Roseland, and then heads back to the park, where cyclists treat themselves to ice cream. In honor of the passing of Olivia Newton-John, the August 30 ride has a special theme: Grease. Participants are invited to dress up in satin jackets and saddle shoes or Levis and leather jackets. Cyclists meet in the park at 5:45 p.m. and hit the road at 6:15 p.m. For more information, go to facebook.com/groups/340583634378145.
