The 4th Annual “Y I Run” Fun Run & Walk raises domestic violence awareness with every step. YWCA and its supporters know that domestic violence has impacted so many, either first-hand or through experiences of a close friend or family member. Event supporters receive a Participant Sticker which has a space to write their own response to “Why I Run.” For example participants may write “… for my sister, brother, mom, or dad,” or “for my friend, my roommate, my co-worker” or “for the community.” All proceeds will be used in Sonoma County.
