Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. The 56th Annual MLK/Juneteenth Community Festival Celebration of Diversity and Inclusion will take place from 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at MLK Park on Hendley Street in Santa Rosa. Live choir performances, food and merchandise vendors, kids zone activities, local business information booths, and community basketball and soccer games help attendees celebrate unity and culture.
