Little Shop of Horrors Arrives

Raven Performing Arts Theater presents Little Shop of Horrors. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken gave the world this camp classic in 1982. The story centers on meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn, who stumbles across a new breed of plant he names “Audrey II” after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down-and-out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it blood. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out-of-this-world origins and its intent toward global domination. July 2, 3, 5, and 9–12 shows are $40 for adults and $10 for students with ID.
