Riverfront Regional Parks volunteers are needed to remove trash, and possibly invasive species, to keep the shoreline and aquatic ecosystem healthy for native species. Participants should dress in layers, wear comfortable, closed-toe hiking shoes, and bring a hat and sunscreen. Ages 13 and under require a parent or guardian present. Ages 14–17 may participate independently with a signed permission slip. Organizers should be informed ahead of time if volunteers have accessibility needs. Parking fees are waived for volunteers.
