Held annually by volunteers on the Sunday before Labor Day, the proud village of Tomales celebrates its history through TomalesFest. TomalesFest is the successor to Founders Day, which itself is the continuation of the Swiss national day celebration. Participants have been parading, picnicking, and partying for at least 138 years! This year, the Blues Defenders will provide live music in Tomales Community Park, 10 Irvin Rd., Tomales. Food, beer, wine, art, crafts, and local exhibits will also be featured.
