CAMP HBG: DAY CAMP (5 ½ -7 & 7 ½-11 years)

Join us on an adventure this summer as campers immerse themselves in a new theme each week. The traditional day camp offers Science, arts and crafts, cooking, games, sports and STEAM based activities. Whether you are here for one week or all nine, our camps are sure to provide an unforgettable adventure fun for everyone! We provide campers a morning and afternoon snack. Children in the full day camp will have the opportunity to participate in an afternoon of recreational swim. All rooms will have a certain day of the week assigned to go to the pool. Child must bring their own sack lunch and water bottle. We provide full day, half day, drop-in and early drop-off options to provide families a flexible schedule. Activity Assistance available for qualifying families, contact our Front Office Staff for more information, 707.431.3301.

Camp HBG Preschool (3-5 YRS)

Each week your camper will go on an adventure with age-appropriate activities. The experience of a traditional summer camp just like the big kids. A nutritious morning snack will be provided, and each child will need to bring a lunch and water bottle. Camp will include cooking, science, arts and crafts, games, and sports.

Chess Wizards (12pm-3pm) or (9am-12pm) Ages 6-11

Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Our camps include fun team chess games, recess time, snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. We include all the materials necessary for your child to participate. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your vacation with Chess Wizards!

LEGO PLAY WELL TEKNOLOGIES CAMP

Let your imagination run wild with tens of thousands of LEGO® parts! Build engineer-designed projects and use special pieces to create your own unique designs! Projects are rotated seasonally to ensure that both new and returning students can explore the endless creative possibilities of the LEGO® building system.

Little Tennis Camp

Class is for our smallest tennis players. kids ages 4-8 4 day camp of learning the basics of the game in a fun and safe environment with Coach Jason. Racket not required but recommended

NAOFA All Sports Camp (7-13 YRS)

The All Sports Camp is a perfect place for kids to be introduced to the world of sports and an active, healthy lifestyle. This multi-sport camp may include sports like basketball, soccer, and flag football. Other games may include dodgeball, wiffleball, kickball, capture the flag, and ultimate Frisbee. These games teach children sport-specific skills while learning the importance of teamwork, losing and winning with dignity, and communication with friends and peers. Kids will PLAY HARD and HAVE FUN!

NAOFA Basketball June Camp (7-13 YRS)

Players who are interested in developing individual and team skills will learn a lot at this camp. Drills include ball-handling, passes and offense, defense, footwork, movement skills, and layups. Skills-based challenges will be combined with games and other small-sided competitions. Basketball is an excellent sport for teaching children the importance of teamwork, hard work, determination, winning and losing with dignity, and mental and emotional stability. Kids will PLAY HARD and HAVE FUN!

NAOFA Soccer Camp (7-13 YRS)

Our soccer camps offer beginner to intermediate campers the opportunity to build a solid soccer foundation. Players are grouped by age and ability to learn appropriate drills, skills, and technique. Emphasis will be on proper warm-ups, footwork drills, agility, passing, defending, shooting, and game strategies. They will learn key lessons like decision-making, teamwork, and perseverance.

NAOFA JR ACADEMY ALL SPORTS CAMP (4-6 YRS)

This program gives children a fun, active & educational experience tailored to the abilities of their age group. Kids have a blast learning motor skills and coordination while playing games with other children. Our program uses FUN to teach problem solving skills and the beginning fundamentals for sports including throwing, catching, kicking, and running. Games may include wiffleball, soccer, capture the flag, relay & obstacle races, and much more. Featuring structured, simple activities, individual and team-building challenges, and small-sided competitions to develop teamwork and engage young athletes.

NAOFA JR ACADEMY SOCCER CAMP (4-6 YRS)

Our Jr. Academy Soccer camp will introduce young children to the fundamentals of soccer. They will learn to kick the ball, stop the ball with their foot, and not use their hands. NAofA coaches will use positive reinforcement as they dribble, pass and shoot, play games, and have fun!

SAS - Week 1 - Introduction to Ceramics (6-9 Yrs)
July 1-5 Roll, pinch, and coil your clay as you learn basic techniques of hand building with clay. Practice basics in shaping and attaching pieces of clay together while creating unique works of decorative and functional art like bowls, pots, tiles, and figurines! We will also use stamping and block printing techniques as students create interesting textures and patterns. Please note: We will glaze and fire selected pieces which require two kiln firings, so pieces will not be available for pickup until approximately 14 days after class ends. No experience required. Students who have had experience with clay can hone their existing skills.

July 1-5 Learn how to throw pottery on the wheel to form functional pieces, such as cups, bowls and plates. Explore hand-building clay using simple tools using common techniques of pinch pottery, coil building, and slab building. Please note: We will glaze and fire selected pieces which require two kiln firings, so pieces will not be available for pickup until approximately 14 days after class ends. No experience required. Students who have had experience with pottery and clay can hone their existing skills.

SAS - Week 3 - Garden Art Makers (6-9 Yrs)
July 15-19 In this popular camp, students tinker, build, and create garden art using recycled materials and what we can scavenge from nature. Students will restore, upcycle, concert and invent decorative items including totems, mosaic flowerpots, wire and wood animal sculptures, funky birdhouses, wind chimes, and colorful fairy houses.


SAS - Week 3 -Printmaking, Stamping & Stenciling (10-17 Yrs)
July 15-19 Explore the joy of printmaking using a variety of methods from simple to more complex. Try printing with found objects, lino cuts, mono-printing with gelli printing plates and intaglio with a mini-printing press. Create your own stamps and stencils or use those we have on hand to create expressive mixed media projects.


SAS - Week 4 - Comics + Characters (10-17 Yrs)
July 22-26 Get into character! Students will create their own characters, exploring shape, language, exaggeration, and facial expressions. They will then craft their own comics exploring visual storytelling using industry techniques. A great class for students interested in character design, animation, graphic novels, comics, and cartooning.

SAS - Week 5 - Art Lab: 3-D and Mixed Media (6-9 Yrs)
July 29-Aug 2 Transform your imagination into three dimensions while learning the basics of sculpture, model making and other unique, mixed-media projects. Students will explore a multitude of mediums: wire, wood, plaster, paint, cardboard, magnets, plaster cloth wrap, recycled materials and more. Fun projects will include sculpted figures, up-cycled animal creatures, magnetic metal sculptures, theatrical masks, monsters with moving parts and futuristic architectural dwellings.


SAS - Week 5 - Studio Painting, Drawing & Collage(10-17 Yrs)
July 29-Aug 2 Students will draw and paint with various materials such as charcoal, graphite, color pencils, markers, watercolor, and ink pens and fine papers. We will learn techniques in shading, blending, and building texture. Various collage techniques will also be incorporated. Through each medium, students explore the art of various modern and contemporary artists.

Junior Tennis Camp (7-13 YRS)

Please join coach JT for 4 days of a fun and skill focused tennis camp. Your child will improve their form, footwork and sportsmanship while having fun in a socially environment. Cost is $255 for the week (Monday-Thursday). Please bring water, a small snack and sunscreen. Rainout credits will be applied to any class that has inclement weather. 8 players accepted maximum.

TOP CHEER ELITE GYM AND DANCE

Competitive cheerleading and Hip Hop is a growing sport that develops the character and potential of each athlete on an individual level while creating an atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork and cooperation. We have built a reputation for entertaining, action-packed routines using safe stunting technique with a focus on clean execution. We believe in providing a challenging, positive and enjoyable family atmosphere where the athletes also learn the importance of developing inner strength, self-respect and sportsmanship. We hope to inspire each athlete to achieve their personal best, both in competitive cheerleading arena and beyond.
