Expeditionary Learning (ExL) is a specialized program for students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Located at Lawrence Jones Middle School, ExL offers and exiting curriculum that combines interdisciplinary academics with frequent expeditions into the world outside the classroom. Over the course of three years, each student participates in approximately 30 expeditions and projects.

Our students strive for academic excellence; work both independently and in teams; create innovative solutions to real-world problems; develop environmental, cultural, and social awareness; and engage in conservation and community service projects.

Applications for the ExL program are available on our website. Applications for the 2020-2021 school year are due Feb. 29th.
