Beth Ami Community Nursery School

Jewish Values • Human Values

We Blossom • We are Diverse

We are Respected • We have a Story

We are Beth Ami

About Us Founded in 1979, Beth Ami Community Nursery School is a Reggio-inspired Jewish nursery school, dedicated to providing developmentally appropriate, open ended experiences for all children in a joyful, safe, and rich learning environment. Our goals for each child are that they develop a positive self-image, independence, creative thinking skills, and respect for differences. Our school is a program of Congregation Beth Ami, and is located on the Congregation Beth Ami campus. We warmly welcome families of all background and religious affiliations.

An Overview Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and guided by the Jewish values of Chesed (loving kindness), Kavod (respect/honor), and Kahillah (community) our early childhood program nurtures the whole child – socially, physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. Our teachers work side by side with our students and encourage them to ask questions, follow their instincts, and learn from each other. We work daily on communication and cooperation skills so that they are able to resolve conflicts independently and peacefully. BACNS is committed to meeting the needs of working families in our community, by offering full-day and near year-round coverage for children ages 2-5 in addition to our CORE day, from 9AM to 1PM.
