Kaleidoscope Arts & Activism Camp Ages 11-14

06/16/2025 - 06/20/2025
Kaleidoscope Camp is available to students who will be 11-14 years old during the camp session.

Kaleidoscope camp is a week-long summer camp open to those who identify as LGBT+ and allies. The goal of this camp is to build community and connections in a safe, fun, respectful and accepting space. We will focus on local activism and project-based learning together. Students will have the opportunity to engage in activism either through creating a zine/resource guide, tabling to promote the club, or partake in local Sonoma County Pride events. We will also have community building circles for students to express themselves in a judgment-free space amongst their peers. In addition to activism, we will also incorporate time spent outside, mindfulness, and connection games.

Allison is an experienced educator and community member who has facilitated public-school based LGBTQ+ clubs in a middle school setting and college setting.

Allison also has much experience participating with her clubs at local pride parades and tabling.
