The Presentation School

20872 Broadway
Sonoma, CA 95476

We are happy to offer on campus learning for our K-6 students!

LOVE • LEARN • LEAD

These three little, but powerful, words inspire the daily work of The Presentation School. “Little but powerful” is an apt description of the Presentation School as a whole. As an intentionally small independent school, we are motivated to know and love each of our students, and to continually find ways to encourage them to do the same.

Our campus is worthy of its place in the beautiful Sonoma Valley, with lots of room for kids to play and stretch outside, and even more room for them to stretch as learners in the classroom. A 1:1 laptop program for grades 3-8, and sets of iPads for K-2 are tools for us to continually adapt our practices to a rapidly changing world. Our professional fine and performing arts program, Spanish instruction from kindergarten through 8th grade, and an integrated faith curriculum, are proof that we take seriously the school’s founding vision to bring a renaissance in education to the Sonoma Valley.

The world needs creative children, who will adapt their intrinsic sense of wonder, and trial and error, to solve complex problems. We want them to do this with an equal sense of joy and hope. Presentation students are given numerous opportunities, scripted and unplanned, to share their learning with the entire school community through performances, student-led liturgies, and all school “Showcases.” In this way, our kids learn what it means to be a thoughtful leader – whether speaking in front of the class, or listening in the audience. It’s an awesome responsibility, and yet our kids make it look easy.

At Presentation, we believe that every child has gifts and talents to be discovered, nurtured, and treasured. Our success in helping young people learn and grow is rooted in our commitment to small class sizes, engaging and caring teachers, and our community’s belief that all children should be appropriately challenged: academically, socially and spiritually.

As an independent K-8 school, rooted in the Catholic tradition, our community welcomes and celebrates families from all faith backgrounds. We invite you to experience the difference of a Presentation School education for your own children.

Sincerely, Jacqueline Gallo
