Classes

There is a place for every person interested in Irish dancing, from young beginners to ambitious competitors. Irish dancing builds poise, self-confidence and pride in achievement that carries over into other areas of the dancer’s life. Irish dancing also challenges students, when ready, to support each other in competition and performance while building long-lasting friendships.

Each dancer is placed in a class based on their age, abilities and needs. The teacher will discuss with you the correct class placement for your dancer.

About

The Keenan Irish Dance School is located in Sonoma County, California under the direction of Fidelma Keenan, TCRG.

Since childhood, Fidelma has been actively involved in traditional Irish step dancing and has competed and won numerous awards at the regional, national and world championship level. Fidelma is an accredited teacher of Irish dancing qualified by An Coimisiun le Rince Gaelacha in Dublin, Ireland . The school’s mission is to bring the joy and beauty to children of all ages and abilities and to share in this rich Irish treasure. The Keenan Irish Dance School offers traditional Irish dance classes for K.I.D.S. ages 4 and up. Classes are located in Petaluma.
