All for the love of dogs Locals helping locals, focusing on the challenge of care givers and our love of dogs. Come join us on May 18th from 12:00-3:00 at Lagunitas. Clay Play Projects has made 40 dog sculptures all inspired by Petaluma dogs to support a local rescue here on Old Adobe Rd. called Lilys Legacy. We couldn’t help but be inspired by the volunteers working together to keep Lily’s running smoothly. To see the loving care and kindness given to these gentle giants brought us joy. We hope these sculptures make you smile, laugh and maybe even remind you of a love you once had by a four legged critter with a wet kiss! Something about starting a conversation with a stranger about their dog, showed us how alike we all are. Lagunitas was kind to give us a moment to share these creations with you. We will have a LIVE Adoption event and a sculpture sale where 50% of each sales goes to support Lily’s and their wonderful program. We all think about getting old, maybe even worry about who will care fo us one day. Show a senior dog your heart and they will show you theirs. Clay Play Projects began from a need to share art so others may benefit. It is the healing that happens inside us as we create art that opens the door for giving.
