OLLI Cinema Club Film Screening & Lecture
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute's Cinema Club and Sonoma County Library present a screening of a 1964 film Starring Richard Burton, Ava Gardner, & Deborah Kerr John Huston directed this Tennessee Williams adaptation about a defrocked priest who leads a bus-load of middle-aged Baptist women on a tour of the Mexican coast. Time magazine wrote, "Huston and company put together a picture that excites the senses, persuades the mind, and even occasionally speaks to the spirit --one of the best movies ever made from a Tennessee Williams play." The screening will be followed by an open discussion led by Sonoma State University's illustrious film instructor, Barbara Spea
