14th annual Sonoma County Transition Fair, Wednesday, March 2nd 2022 for students with special needs and their families. The 14th annual Transition Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, at the Finley Community Center, 2060 West College Avenue, Santa Rosa, 95401.

This free annual event, currently in its 14th year, is designed to help students and their families learn about services for individuals with special needs as they transition from school-based programs to adulthood. Sonoma County special education students in middle school, high school, and post-secondary programs and their families are invited to attend. Spanish interpreters will be available onsite. ASL interpreters can be requested by contacting Ashley Duke at 707-576-2243 by 2/24.

Service providers will be at the virtual event to provide information and answer questions about residential options, adult day programs, vocational training, post-secondary education, employment, support services, and much more.

For your safety and the safety of our guests, we are proceeding with the following safety measures: Masks are required to be worn throughout the event, additional spacing and sanitizing will be in place. Please plan to stay home if you have any symptoms of Covid including but not limited to fever, cough, tiredness, loss of taste and smell, sore throat, headache, chills, shortness of breath, body aches, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.

The Transition Fair is a service of the Sonoma County Transition Consortium, which consists of representatives from Sonoma County Office of Education, North Bay Regional Center, Department of Rehabilitation, local school districts and adult service providers.
