Sonoma Valley local and founder of Gonzo Parenting, Jay Rooke, is hosting a family-friendly reading of his new book, Gonzo Parenting: The Comic Book, which features a collection of comics, capturing the crazy, comedic, and eminently relatable moments of the parenting journey.

Rooke, father of 7-year-old twins, created the Gonzo Parenting community and the comic book to serve as a cathartic, communal, and comedic space that not only eschews perfect parenting but delights in the imperfect, raw and relatable aspects of raising children, and ourselves.

The readings will be family-friendly events, offering fellow parents the opportunity to meet the author and get a unique behind-the-comic commentary on some of Rooke’s favorite excerpts from the book.
