Go behind the scenes to learn about making the new Peanuts animated series Camp Snoopy and The Snoopy Show (Apple TV+) with director Rob Boutilier and storyboard artist Gavin Freitas. Learn how they stay true to Charles Schulz’s original comic strip while bringing new stories to life on the screen.

Boutilier has helped create new Peanuts animation with WildBrain Studios since 2018, serving as animation director for the Emmy Award-winning documentary Who Are You, Charlie Brown. Freitas has animated and storyboarded numerous TV shows, including The Simpsons, American Dad, Fairly Odd Parents, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, and Rick and Morty, to name a few.

This presentation is in conjunction with the Museum’s exhibition Here Come the Beagle Scouts! and National Will Eisner Week.
