Martin Cendreda is a cartoonist and animator from Los Angeles. He is the author of The Hand of Black (Fantagraphics), as well as a children’s book An Apple and an Adventure (Archaia). His comics and illustrations have been published by Nickelodeon, Fantagraphics, Drawn and Quarterly, and Giant Robot, among others. As an animator, he has worked on such shows as South Park, Problem Solverz, and Bojack Horseman.
Derek Kirk Kim is an award-winning writer, artist, and director. He is the creator of The Last Mermaid from Image Comics and the Eisner, Harvey, and Ignatz Award-winning graphic novel, Same Difference and Other Stories. He garnered his second Eisner Award with The Eternal Smile, a collaboration with MacArthur Fellow Gene Luen Yang. In television, Kim has worked as a director, storyboard artist, and character designer for numerous shows including Disney’s Amphibia, Adventure Time, and Green Eggs and Ham on Netflix.
John Pham is a cartoonist and animator born in Saigon, Vietnam, and raised in Southern California. He grew up loving comics and cartooning, and counts Peanuts as one of his greatest influences. He has won the Xeric Award, been nominated for Ignatz and Eisner awards, and has worked for clients as diverse as Netflix, Cartoon Network, The New Yorker, and the Los Angeles Times. He has also been featured in acclaimed anthologies like The Best American Comics and Kramers Ergot, and was a featured international guest at the Angouleme comics festival in France.
