Homeschool Day: Snoopy’s Family

Explore the Museum’s newest exhibition, Snoopy’s Family, and learn about animals through hands-on activities. Discover what families in the animal kingdom look like, explore animal homes, and try building one.
Plus, learn to draw Snoopy and other Peanuts animal characters! Enjoy the optional opportunity to extend the day with ice skating at Snoopy’s Home Ice from 12:30–2:00 pm.
The event features the following guests and interactive activities:
- Read to a therapy dog with Paws as Loving Support (PALS)
- Meet a senior dog and learn about adopting older dogs with Brooks Legacy Senior Dog Rescue
- Understand how you can help animals with Memorial Beach Vet Hospital
- Discover books about animals with the Northwest Regional Santa Rosa Library
- Create stories and comics about animals with professional cartoonists
- Learn about bears in California with North Bay Bear Collaborative
- Explore invertebrates with Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation
- Investigate marine mammals with The Marine Mammal Center
- and more!
Cost:
Youth: $10.00 per child by March 25 ($15.00/child after). Includes Museum activities only, no ice skating.
Youth + Ice Skating: $17.00 by March 25 ($22.00/child after)
Chaperones: Free with paying child (no ice skating)
Chaperones + Ice Skating:$7.00 per person
